August 15 - SpiritFire
Heaven’s Open Door
Sunday Morning: Daybreak & Refresh
- [Spoiled! Instant communication – Skype from Peru to Thailand and China and face-to-face with Home!]
- Key Passages: Esther 4:9-11
[Very few, if any, of us could fly to Washington, DC, take a taxi to the Whitehouse and go up ask to speak to the President, face-to-face, the risk to Esther much greater!]
Ephesians 2:14-22
- Scripture Reading: Romans 8:26-29
- Because the Spirit of God is in us, we can be assured of three things:
- We have instant access always to God, Spirit to Spirit – no king or president is worthy of His shadow, yet the Creator of the universe has time for us [Hardest thing for our Chinese students to understand]
- We are not only heard, but we are understood – words and emotions – by God [Little Peruvian Orphans we couldn’t understand]
- We are not alone in the communication, God is with us and in us as we seek to connect to Him [Next best thing to being there]
- Focus: God not only allows us to communicate with Him, but He desires it, and longs to return to the Garden where we can meet in the cool of the day – but because of our separation, God has graced us with the Spirit to connect to our heart!

- Speaker: Phil Ware
- Prayer & Scripture: Foy Owens Malachi 4
