  • Dark times everywhere you look. Servant girl abducted and held prisoner. Mighty commander struck down with leprosy. Duplicity and faithlessness is found everywhere you turn. But who is hero of faith in this story? A servant girl from Samaria. She has faith in God. She has concern for her "master." She has knows of God's servant in Samaria. Despite being a slave, despite being far away from home, despite the lack of faith in the leadership of God's people, she knows a prophet who does God's work. She helps her master and shows her faith by helping Naaman find Elisha, and Naaman to find healing.
