January 16 - Sh!ft: Commitment

Sunday Morning: Daybreak & Refresh

• Key Scriptures: Hebrews 2:1-4; 2 Corinthians 8:1-5; 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10
• Scripture Reading: Hebrews 6:9-12

• Today we will introduce The Core 7 concepts of Sh!ft and ask people to commit to grow in at least 2 areas of these concepts as well as commit to be a part of the work of the church for 2011. We will use the theme of EPIC, or becoming part of God's great story. I will use a short clip from Star Wars and also a weightier clip from the chronicles of Narnia. The call will be to have courage and write a story to leave behind a legacy to our children and grandchildren. Rob Marcelain will use and illustration based around surrendering everything to God using a man's keys.
